Mind's Eye Video productions has been producing wedding videos since 1996. We have done literally hundred's of wedding videos
since that time, as well as many other event and performance videos.
In addition to weddings we also produce corporate video, TV commercials, and most recently internet marketing and promotional videos.
Wedding Video: our approach
Our approach to wedding video is to caputure the moments as they happen in the most natural way possible. We know a camera can be a little intimidating so we also like to interact with the couple and the wedding party, put them at ease, and encourage people's involvement in the video. We encourage your family, friends, and especially the wedding party to talk to you via the camera so your video is personalized. In the final product we know this will make your video more fun, more personal, and much more special and memorable. Over the years we have also developed a great instinct to know when to be subtle and when to just step back and let things happen.
Your Ceremony
During your ceremony we position the cameras to always capture the best view of the couple. We will also remain as obscure and inobtrusive as possible. A priority for us is respect for the important and sacred nature of the wedding ceremony. We respect the wishes of the couple, their families, and the rules and protocol of the ceremony venue, especially if it is a house of worship. We always like to meet and discuss your wishes prior to the wedding. We also attend rehearsal whenever possible to plan our camera placements and familiarize ourselves with the cerrmony itself.
Your Reception
At your reception we capture every interesting moment while remaining inobtrusive. We know the best position to be in to catch the optimum angles and perspective. We try at all times to capture the scene from the most interesting angle and perspective. We have an instict for knowing when to step back and when to get into the action and have fun. If it's appropriate we'll even get right out on the dance floor and capture the fun and the excitement of the moment. We wil always discuss this in advance with the couple and make sure we respect their wishes as well. We will also work directly with the photographer to coordinate our shots so as not to interfere with their work.
